Ukraine War Update: Russian Missile Strike in Kryvyi Rih Claims Lives, Mayor Confirms 6 Fatalities

In a regrettable incident, the city mayor of Kryvyi Rih, Oleksandr Vilkul, has confirmed the loss of six lives due to a missile strike conducted by Russia. The strike occurred on Tuesday, inflicting significant damage on the central Ukrainian city.




Earlier in the day, Ukrainian authorities had reported three fatalities and a substantial number of individuals trapped beneath the debris of a five-storey apartment building. Efforts to rescue survivors remain ongoing.




Oleksandr Vilkul relayed the unfortunate news via the Telegram messaging app, stating, "Unfortunately, there are already six dead. The rescue operation continues."




The Ukrainian officials had earlier provided information about the three casualties and the precarious situation of numerous individuals trapped amidst the wreckage of the aforementioned residential complex.
